An Uneventful Weekend

We had a pretty normal and nice weekend at home! It was really uneventful – we pretty much did NOTHING but work on the house, clean up the yard, and get in some indoor and outdoor time. Here’s a look at it, one-sentence-per-photo style. The hole in our house is not fixed, but right now it’s at least covered up!Out to dinner for pizza.Saturday morning indoor arts & crafts while B cleans up the yard.Even superheros need to eat.Grocery shopping is a must on weekends. When it still feels like summer, you need to relax on the porch.Stroller runs and walks are good for the soul.Making nut butter is easy when you have a Vitamix; we replenished our peanut and almond butter supply.

FW got a big kid carseat!

And LM likes playing with the box.

LM also enjoyed ending the weekend with a visit with her baby cousin.

Questions for you:

  • Do you like uneventful weekends?
  • How often do you grocery shop?

    Your kids are so precious
Was the hole in your house from the storm? I think I missed a post

Thank you 🙂 Yes the hole was from the storm. The wind knocked down some tree branches, which fell on power and cable lines, and ripped them out of my house, along with the siding and first few layers.

    Seems like a productive weekend.

I’m going to try making nut butters in my Vitamix. Thanks for the idea!

Welcome to I Crashed The Web — proof that I’ve been oversharing online since the early days of blogging. It started as a blog (back when that was cool), morphed into a mom blog (when that was cool), and now it’s my happy place for all the things I love: running, baking, reading, traveling and life with my family of five.
