Hey Cleveland social media folks – interested in networking with fellow nerds, trying some new food, have a drink and listen to a fellow Clevelander present? Then tonight’s the night for you.
Details about our May Social Media Club meeting:
Time: May 18, 2010 from 6pm to 8:30pm
Location: Time Warner Cable Media Sales/Sportstime Ohio
Street: 1375 Euclid Avenue Suite 350 (Use Dodge Court entrance)
Featured Speaker: Tony Ramos, local Clevelander and PowerPoint Presentation Guru will be leading the breakout session about utilizing “The Backchannel.”
Honestly, I have no idea what the backchannel is. That’s why I’m going. Apparently it’s important, because it was one of TIME magazine’s top ten tech trends for 2010.
The food/drink theme (you know you wanted to know): BYOB potluck as usual, the only catch is that you must bring items from local stores, restaurants or eateries to promote and support our fantastic city! You can purchase items or make your own at home with locally purchased ingredients. I made Cleveland Brown-ies. Get it? I put orange Reese’s Pieces all over them. Yum.
Important note: Yes, the meeting will be over (or you can leave if you must) in time for LOST and Glee. I’ll be watching Glee and looking forward to seeing 90s-version of Mr. Schuster and catch Neil Patrick Harris in a mullet.
Hope to see you there! More details and RSVP info here.
*I’m completely ignoring the fact that I haven’t posted in years.
