Friday nights call for homemade pizza.

And cupcakes.

Saturday morning started with brunch with ladies (and avocado toast).

Afternoon walks when it is 78 degrees in the fall are the best.

Homemade pasta is my favorite.

I’m starting  to enjoy runs in the burbs.

He is my new running buddy!

He likes to help paint.

Storytime before bedtime.

Some questions for you:

  • Did you enjoy some warm weather too this weekend?
  • What’s your favorite children’s book?

I’m linking up with the weekly wraps!

Unfortunately in the midwest it rained all day Saturday, so my run was a rather soggy one. And oh man, it’s hard to choose just one favorite children’s book! I loved all the DR. Seuss books, Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs, and as a teacher I would love reading The Sweetest Fig with my students.

I loved Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs growing up!! I had forgotten about that. Definitrely need to reintroduce that to my collection!

I can’t believe how unseasonably warm it has been here! I am loving it! I have never made homemade pasta. It sounds like a lot of work! Or did you get it out? I can’t tell because your picture looks delicious. I love homemade pizza though.

It was still hot hot hot this past weekend except for a front that came in on Sunday night but with it brought lovely cool temps! I even had Chicken Taco soup for supper and was greeted with an overnight low in the upper 40’s!!! Thanks Melissa for linking up!

FW looks so cute in that dinosaur shirt! It’s been a while since I’ve read a children’s book, but I do remember my kids liking Goodnight Moon. Thanks for linking!

My favourite children’s book at the moment is The Gruffalo! I think I actually like it more than my kids do, LOL!
