It was a relatively low-ish mileage week here for me. While I ran 6 of 7 days this week, I didn’t quite get in any long runs and two of them were under 3 miles. BUT I ended up with 20 miles for the week so I feel good about it!
Here is a summary:
Some highlights/lowlights:
Last week was a little abnormal in that I was traveling for work and actually had access to a gym one day! AND my Fitbit broke. For good. Like it no longer works at all…
I used the treadmill AND the elliptical. It had been YEARS it seemed since I last used an elliptical!
Some questions for you:
- What are you wearing in terms of a fitness watch these days? I’m in the market for a new one!
- What are you looking forward to most this week?

Sorry to hear that your fit bit broke.. Ihave the Garmin 235. The face is a little big than wanted but I am so used to it now that I wear it for my everyday watch. It gives you steps, calories,HR, etc.
Ugh sorry about your Fitbit. That’s so disappointing. I bit the bullet and splurged on the Garmin Fenix5S. It’s so fantastic I can’t even express how great it is.
That’s what I’ve been looking at actually … but it’s so expensive! Do you find it worth it? Which one do you have?
My fitness tracker broke last month. I ordered a Garmin vivosmart and I love it!
I have a Garmin Vivoactive which I love, especially the fact that I can swim with it (not that I swim all that often). It’s a GPS watch & fitness tracker rolled into one.
I need to read up on the HR version of it, as mine is approaching 3 years . . . just so I’m educated, of course. 🙂
I haven’t been on an elliptical in years, either! I have a stationary bike at home for my cross training, and that swimming when I get around to it.
I don’t have a step tracker. I did but it broke, so now I just wear my Garmin 220 as a watch. When it needs replacing, I expect I’ll get a Garmin that tracks steps/movement.
The line on the fit bit looks so ominous! RIP indeed! I use a TomTom Sports watch – my first sports watch and love it to bits.
