This week was another great week in terms of running and mileage. I somehow ended up with 33+ miles and I’m pretty happy with it.
The mornings have been getting cooler, too – it’s been in the upper sixties and lower seventies when I go out, and that makes for a pretty pleasant run. Can the weather stay this way all year? I’m not ready for fall/winter yet!
Here’s a look at the weekly mileage:
Some highlights from the week include:
Sunday I got in a bagel run with FW. We took the stroller out for a run to the bagel shop, which is just 2ish miles or so away. We picked up some fresh bagels and then ran back.
There were some pretty skies this week and the clouds were photoworthy. One morning I finished as the sun was rising and caught this sunrise.
Some questions for you:
- Do you run before the sun comes up?
- What’s your favorite kind of bagel?
I’m linking up with Deborah and Kim for the Weekly Run Down.
Favorite bagel is the everything bagel w cream cheese. Sounds like you have some pretty perfect weather! Enjoy
Nice mileage this week!
I love the idea of a bagel run! What a nice way to get in some miles AND treat yourself to yummy bagels 🙂
I do most of my runs before the sunrise, which is why I LOVE summer running because I get to witness the sunrise DURING the run instead of near the “finish line.” I am in no hurry for fall or winter, either.
Salt bagels are my favorite! We have a great bagel shop that delivers bagels to our office sometimes. I made the mistake of grabbing the green one, thinking it was some sort of veggie…. which it was. Except the veggie was jalapeno pepper!! Ugh, the WORST!! I can’t stand spicy food.
Jalapeno creamcheese makes me wish I could do dairy — when I occasionally find a jalapeno bagel I’m in carb heaven
Poppy, jalapeno or salt
I’ve run at sunrise but not before. My usual routes have too many uneven surfaces for me to risk
Nice miles! I don’t get up early to run anymore–altho I’d probably get more miles in if I did! No bagels for me–they seem to go right to my abdomen.
Right now I head out about 6:15 for my run, but the sun has already been up
