I’ve set it before, and I’ll say it again. I don’t love fall, mostly because it makes me think of winter. And, I love WARM days and WARM weather. I love long days of sunlight. That said, I do love fall running and this week we had some great weather, and I saw some beautiful foliage.
Also this week, I made it to 177 days of my running streak AND I finally got in another 40+ mile week of running! I haven’t hit this in more than a month, and even though my plantar fasciitis is still hurting me on and off, it is something I’m learning to deal with, at least most days.
Here is a look at the full week – ~41 miles of running and 15 of walking!

- Did you buy anything running-related from Prime day? I stocked up on Nuun!
- Do you have any recommendations for good walking sneakers? I want ones that look good with my jeans or other pants 🙂

the fall foliage and temps are the best! My absolute fave time of the year. Wow nice job on that running streak. I had some nice Ryka walking shoes last year that were super comfy. I bought an air fryer on prime day no running stuff
I didn’t buy anything running related on Prime Day – I actually didn’t buy anything this year. I surprised myself lol.

Fall running is the best! The cooler temperatures really spark my running joy. I didn’t take any time to plan for Prime, so all I came up with was Nuun (yay!) and a spare pair of AirPods. I was eyeing a new tv for our bedroom, but decided we’re better off not having one there.

I agree with your thoughts on fall…I love the pretty colors, but dread what’s right around the corner afterwards. It’s ben an odd fall for me, as you know. Not running has been a weird reality…and biking all the time has been a game-changer.
Fall is really just another day in Florida. Hot, humid, and nothing much changes.
For casual sneakers, I like my Chuck Taylors. But I’m also fine walking around all day in Tom’s or flip flops.
Nothing major on prime day. A wanted a new phone case and some headphones, but that was it.
