Weekly Run Down: A Good Week

Looking back at this week in terms of running, I can say it was a good week.

I got in 4 outdoor runs, 3 indoor runs (thank you, treadmill!) and I felt pretty good.

I’m still not getting any faster (thanks, postpartum running, breastfeeding and lack of sleep for that), but I’m not injured, I’m still getting in my miles, and overall, I’m feeling good.

(This is one of my favorite versions of this song – I believe I first heard it in an episode of Luther)

The week went like this:

Sunday: 4.6 outdoor miles

Monday: 4.7 treadmill miles

Tuesday: 5 treadmill miles

Wednesday: 4.01 treadmill outside

Thursday: 4.51 outdoor miles

Friday: 5.5 outdoor miles – I was up at 3 a.m. with the baby, so I decided to just get out early so I ended up having time to get in 5.5 miles before having to get ready at 6 a.m.!

Saturday:  4.25 outdoor miles – it was 60 DEGREES and I wore shorts. This is probably why it was such a good week in my opinion – any December day I can wear shorts (and should’ve worn a short sleeved shirt!) is GREAT!

Total mileage: 32.57 miles running

More highlights from the week?

Some gorgeous sunrises:

And holiday cheer!

Questions for you:

  • Have you ever watched the show Luther?
  • Are you feeling in the holiday spirit?

Linking up with Deborah and Kim for the Weekly Run Down.

I got really into Luther and watched all seasons. Ended up loving him and the show it’s fun and got better as it went along. Another great week of workouts for you. Thanks for sharing that photo of your little cutie!

Wow, you had a great week! I know, speed is hard to get back. It’ll come- for now you’re doing an incredible job of just getting all those runs in.
Yes, I’m in the holiday spirit for sure! The decorations are up and I’ll be baking cookies today.
Hope you have a great week!

Great week, Melissa! I’m feeling the holiday spirit, but not in terms of decorating, LOL. We’re going to be doing lots of traveling right after Christmas, so knowing I’ll have to take everything down much sooner than usual has really hindered the quantity I’ve set out this year. But, I have been on-the-spot with online ordering 😉

I have never seen Luther. I’m sort of in the spirit. We have had some personal things come up, which has thrown me for a loop. I’ll get it back, In my own time.
