Welcome to my weekend update, one sentence per photo style. I’m coming down with a cold and feeling not-so-hot, so this is the best way to share everything from the past two days, without using too much of my brain. Here’s a quick summary of my weekend.
Started Saturday morning off with a 4 mile run.
We did shopping for the week at the West Side Market (here is what we are eating this week!).
We enjoyed good food (and beer) at Ladies Craft Beer Society, October edition.
The craft included mason jars.
Finished product= mason jar candle holders!
B made me dinner – braised veal breast with artichoke hearts and onions.
FW turned four months old and we somehow managed to snap a photo.
And did lots of Nose Frida-ing – he’s got his first cold.
A Sunday morning walk because I wasn’t feeling well enough for a run 😦
At least it was a gorgeous morning!
After some afternoon relaxing, some afternoon baking.
And B and I made pasta for dinner.
So B could make this deliciousness.
And that’s a wrap! I’m linking up with Erin, Katie and the weekly wraps.
Seriously, for a sick weekend- actually, for any weekend- I’m jealous! All your food looks amazing, restaurant quality! I hope FW is feeling better! I can totally relate what you’re going through 😦
You made home made pasta/ WOW, that looks absolutely amazing. 🙂 AND happy 4 month birthday to FW!
Yes I love homemade pasta- it’s actually pretty easy, it just takes a while!
omg that homemade pasta looks so delicious! Is it easy to make?
It is so easy!! You make the dough and then thin it out with a kitchenaid. It just takes time. But it cooks in no time!
Oh my goodness, that is an adorable picture of your little guy with his pillow. I have never made homemade pasta but I’m sure it is much better than the store bought kind…yum!
I appreciate all the pictures for sure! I’d love to try making pasta but I’m afraid mine would not turn out at all! Four months already, my goodness! Thanks Melissa for joining us each week!
FW is adorable in his 4 month picture. I hope you are feeling better. I can remember how hard it was to be sick while still being a busy Mom! I’m very impressed with your pasta making skills. That is something I have never tried. Thanks for linking, Melissa!
