This week was actually a pretty good week in terms of running! I got in quite a few miles – including both outdoor and indoor runs – and got up to my highest mileage week since LM.
Some highlights:
The week started off with a family run – B, FW, LM and I!
I got in 2 stroller runs- one with FW and my first with LM!
I got in my most weekly miles since LM was born. More than 17!
I ran by myself on Friday! No stroller or anything. My goal was under 10 minutes miles and I barely made it.
It’s safe to say that I’m slowly getting back into running shape. Is it easy? No. But, I’m trying to be patient and just enjoy these runs and my last few weeks of maternity leave!

Way to go! It is not easy getting runs in with little ones at home. I am lucky in that way – all my kids have grown up and flown the coop. No excuse for me not to run (except my own laziness!)
Those are great miles! Doesn’t it feel great to be getting back to your old self? Ideal running weather for me is in the 40-55 degree range. Hello fall!
Great job getting back at it. It took me FOREVER after both boys.
My mileage is sucking right now, but I’m slowly coming back. I can’t wait for fall running weather. I like it *just* cold enough to need long sleeves, but warm enough I can still wear a skirt LOL.
